Heys First Aid Training

WELCOME

We are able to provide First Aid Training to individuals and companies. Based in the Telford area of Shropshire we carry out training throughout the UK.

We are large enough to cope with all your training needs but small enough to care for you as individual clients. Our trainers have recently completed courses for companies such as: Rolls Royce, Quorum and Southern Cross.

All of our courses are certified by Aid Training and Operations Ltd. This means that where required they hold HSE approval.

Heys First Aid is a member of the Association of First Aiders and Shropshire Chamber of Commerce.

First Aid at Work (FAW)

This course meets the HSE requirements for the Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981. The course is run over 3 days and contains both theory and practical sessions. It can be adapted to suit your company’s circumstances (e.g. Clerical office or engineering workshop.) These courses are run on dates to suit once we have a course full of participants. The next open courses will run 25 - 27 January 12 and 5th - 7th March 12.

Cost: £150
A dedidcated course for up to 12 people can be run for your company, price on application.

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

This used to be known as the appointed person course and meets the HSE requirements as such. This is a one day course with both theory and practical sessions. We normally run at least one course a month, dates can be arranged. The next open courses are 21st February 12 and 26th March 12.

Cost: £40 per person.
A dedidcated course for up to 12 people can be run for your company, price on application.

Automated External Defibrillation

Defibrillation is the only known therapy for cardiac arrest. The scientific evidence in support of their use is overwhelming.
We offer half day courses that conform to current resuscitation council guidelines, in order to ensure that you have staff trained in the use of this equipment.

A dedicated course for up to 8 people can be run for £280;
Individuals can join an open course for £40 per person.
